We human beeings are even smaller than a period dot in this Universe, and yet we seldom realize this, and often forget about the awesome power of the Universe. There must be a super power, God or whatever name it is, that regulates the orderly operations of all planets so they don't collide with each other. And we are so lucky that we are able to surve and live on this planet with self awareness and dignity.

Thank God for keeping us alive on this small earth.

Yep, it's true that from whatever point of reference you use, whether it is us or another galaxy, it appears to be the center of expansion.

• If we are seeing fully formed galaxies whose light left 13.5 billion years ago we, need to add the age of those galaxies to the 13.5 billion. If the universe started as a big bang, everything would be the same age, and most of the galaxies would be on the surface of an expanding bubble. If we look into space and all distant galaxie exibit the same red shift in every direction, wouldn't that put us at the center of the universe?
