Thank you very much for bearing with me for holding this party to pre-celebrate your birthday without your prior consent. I should have asked for you approval in advance. But then, we would not have the chance to get together to celebrate this meaningful day for you.

 

Just as Polly said, 88 (Baba) is “father” in Chinese, and in our mind you are always like our father. Also, 88 (Fa Fa) in Cantonese means “prosper” and we all wish you松柏長青, like the pine trees always prosper throughout very long years. These are the heart felt feelings of all Linmarkers.

 

You are perfectly right. Just live happily every day and forget about the age is good for you and everybody, too. Our next birthday party for you will be 7 years later as you promised.
