5月5日 預祝 任先生88吉祥華誕(5月12日)暨林麥同學聯誼會成立大會

 

各位林麥同學們，

 

過去， 我們在林麥工作學習， 造就了今日的我們。 可以說， 如果沒有任先生與任太太， 也就沒有今日的我們。 今年5/12是任先生88吉祥華誕， 因任先生人在國外， 無法參加我們舉辦的生日慶祝會， 因此決定提前於5/5日在蓮田舉辦，預祝   任先生 88吉祥華誕，並表達我們對他誠摯的祝福與敬意。 我們將把各位的祝福、相片與簽名寄給任先生，讓他在88華誕前收到大家的誠摯溫馨祝福。

 

各位都知道， 自從去年9/24-25林麥全球聯誼會後， 任先生為了回饋台灣社會，幫助弱勢族群， 以大家敬愛的任太太 任江履昇女士的名譽捐贈了500萬美金給台大、 成大、 輔大、東海、與東華等5首大學(參見Linmark.alumni Blog.)。 更進一步， 為了感懷他創業之初開車到全省各地， 辛苦推廣Parker Pen時的嘉義大恩人 蔡嘉康，特別選了國立嘉義大學，成立蔡嘉康清寒獎學金， 每年四萬美金給24位清寒優秀的同學。 同時 任先生也請我們為他挑選10家台灣優良但欠缺資金的慈善機構， 由他的家族公司每年各提供一萬美元的資助。其中，透過台灣家扶中心總部舉辦高中職清寒獎學金，每年三萬五千美金， 給43位全省的清寒優秀學子們。 (另外5,000美金給台東家扶作急難救助用。)

 

任先生廣博的愛心與慷慨捐贈是我們身為林麥人一生的驕傲， 更是我們大家今後學習的好榜樣。 雖然大家都已從林麥公司畢業， 並擁有各自的生活與工作， 平日各忙各的。 但是我們希望建立一個永久性的平台， 林麥同學聯誼會，藉此集合大家的愛心與熱心參與， 共同來完成任先生託付我們的神聖使命，繼續回饋社會， 幫助弱勢族群， 帶給需要幫助的人們愛心、希望與光明的前途。

 

附件一是目前已經決定參加的同事共有36位，已經提供登記用身分證影本的同事有27位。附件二是無法參加的同學溫馨鼓勵信函，包括:  Catherine, Corrina, Daniel, Elton, Jennie, Polly, Roger, Sarah, Sandy, Steven Tseng 等， 請參閱。 謝謝。
