926, Mr. Jen's loving hand on his Linmark Grandson

Dear Linmarker,

Erwin Sung, Son of Ann Wu, had a severe car accident and broke his neck when he was about 9 years old in USA .

In a letter to Ann(see it below), Mr. Jen advised Ann that he and Mrs. Jen were worrying very much about Ann and Erwin.

Ann spent all her time, day and night, seven days a week, 365 days a year taking care of him, and Erwin now is a very successful finance manager of Nokia company.

After more than 30 years, Mr. Jen was very happy to see his Linmark grandson, and put his loving hand on his head. Grace took few picture of this memorable touching moment of Linmark Global Reunion.

Iris: I am so happy to know that Ann Wu liaised with you and her son is healthy and bright. The accident happened  many years ago when Mrs. Jen and I were living in Hong Kong. Mrs. Jen was so worried. Ann and her husband had to stay on their son's bedside days and nights.

 

Jenny Ma: I noticed that you will be joining the reunion. How are Mr. Ma and Master Lin Win ?

Dear Ann: May I suggest,  and request , that you do not make such big efforts to travel that long to Taipei  this time.   The airports are all crowded. Planes full. Immigration and security formalities, waiting times, delays etc. are very tiring. Transportation to and from airports, traffic jams etc. very long too.   I too find very difficult travelling.. Even in Taipei, I have difficulties walking, standing and sitting too long. I shall only be able to attend the events for about an hour. I am still suffering for my broken leg injuries and back bone aches.   I am sure that everybody loves to see you. But we do not want you to be too tired. It is just too far to travel from New York for this reunion. There will be a reunion some day in East Coast USA .   Best regards to you and your loved ones. We (my 2 sons & I ) plan to travel to Taipei between 9/21-9/26.   I am searching the travel information now...   My young son needs  business class aisle seat in the airplane. so, there will be enough room to transfer him to/from the seat.   He  needs wheelchair accessible hotel. The entrance door & the bathroom  doo r need 30" or wider. 16 years ago, we stayed in Hyatt.   The transportation after arrival is another issue.   My husband used to prepare these traveling details, and I just showed up with a big smile. I  am so glad that my elder son will  be with us.   I will give Iris a full report, when all is set.   Wish everyone the best,  Ann
