Dear Andrew, 

    I hope this won't cause you too much trouble for sending the two books over to the US.  If you don't mind, as what Iris suggested, the English version of the book probably would have the best use for me as well as my family. My ability of reading the simplified Chinese is very limited, and my husband and children won't be able to read Chinese at all.  So, please take your time to send them over, no need to rush mailing them to me. I can wait, patiently.

I am forwarding Andrew's message to you as follows.  Please advise him your address and phone number then he will send books to you.  This saves my trouble.   However I would suggest you take English version of both books, unless you are familiar with Simple Chinese characters (簡體字).

You are most welcome.  I felt Mr. Jen's books should be given to the persons who knew him and appreciated his spirit and achievements. From your letter to Iris, I knew you are the right persons deserving to have Mr. Jen's books.  Please advise me if you prefer to have English or Chinese versions of the two books.   I like to suggest Chinese "一千兩金"， and the English "Small Stories Big Business", which your family can share with you. It would be very interesting and worthwhile for your kids to read.  Please give me your address and phone number, and I'll arrange to send them to you via sea parcel, or air parcel, if not too expensive.

 Dear Andrew, 

   Iris told me that you have reserved books for me.  What a surprise!  I didn't expect to receive such a wonderful and precious present from you.  Is this the Linmark spirit that is embedded in each alumnus?  I am truly grateful and touched....and can't wait to read them.  I live in Washington DC so I will either pick them up from Iris when I return to Taipei sometime next year,  or I will ask Iris to send them over to me, if possible.

    I have been in the US for more than 20 years, but each time when I returned to Taipei I always made time to visit my dear friends from Linmark. Over the years I always took pictures when each time we gathered together.  I will try to dig those pictures out and email them to you once they become available.
